Ich hätte Wetten darauf abgeschlossen, dass mich eine Werbemail von Amazon niemals tiefer berühren könnte. Ich bin einfach zu sentimental. Sieht man ja, wohin das führt. Ich verfluche gerade die Sonne, weil es in bestimmten Augenblicken nur regnen darf. Das ist eine Frage der Pietät. Der Wettergott scheint ein grober Klotz zu sein. Man will nicht daran erinnert werden, dass Sonne das richtige Wetter für das Herz wäre, weil man ja ein Sonnenkind ist. Ich jedenfalls. Es steht mir doch zu. Nicht diese Quadratkilometer Regenwolken im Herzen. Verdammt.

Smile is a song, originally used as an instrumental theme in the soundtrack for the 1936 Charlie Chaplin movie Modern Times. Chaplin composed the music. While some believe the words were written by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons, the sheet music was sold with the lyrics accredited to Chaplin. In the lyrics, the singer is telling the listener to cheer up and that there is always a bright tomorrow, just as long as they smile. "Smile" has become a popular standard since its original use in Chaplin's film. The song was originally sung by Nat King Cole, charted in 1954.
